Q: How can we achieve this?

The reason we can offer you an excellent service is based on over thirty five years of knowledge, Pride & Joy owns a comprehensive research library to assist in the correct detailing of individual cars.

Over the years we have built a network of trusted contacts that specialise in their field, from instrument repairers, trimmers, paint shops to specialist who harmonise the keys to your car.

Q: Why Rolls Royce and Jaguar specialists?.

The post war range of Rolls Royce and Bentley motorcars together with Jaguar has been our passion from an early age.
That said if you are passionate about the internal combustion engine then any vehicle from a Rolls Royce Phantom to a 50cc Rayleigh Runabout will be of interest to the true petrolhead in making it look better and run more efficiently.

Q: How will this benefit me?

Many quality cars go through periods of time where they are stored in garages for what ever reason. They are then brought back out and expected to perform as good as the day when they first left the factory.

Preparation for Concours / Touring

Q: I would love to have the time to be able to attend a concours event with the car in tip top condition how can I do this?

There is no doubting that wining a concours trophy is a very proud moment for any classic car enthusiast showing off your Pride & Joy in the arena is a wonderful experience, there is also the practical aspect that by gaining the kudos does increase the value of your car.
We can prepare to what ever level you want to enter, it may mean that attending the concours event in a well maintained car that you are proud to drive in, you may wish to enter a touring class or paterner event which means that you own a practical drivable car that is cleaned and maintained to a high standard throughout.

Your car maybe to a high standard already but need final detailing or re working for the event you are about to enter.

Q: Will my car overheat over the mountains roads?

Touring preparation is key to the enjoyment of any trip, both to you and the other participants. You would be amazed the number of cars that enter long distance rally’s and are brought out from the garage a few days before then expected to perform without missing a beat.

By Pride & Joy understanding the event you are entering we can have your car prepared for the conditions you may face, which may need specialist work.

In the future some organiser’s may request that cars have been serviced as a minimum, at Pride & Joy we will take into consideration the rally or tour and prepare the car accordingly both for your comfort and the cars be optimum performance

Many classic car owners have experienced the frustration of managing their own restoration projects be it a part body / mechanical or full restoration.
Even with the best of restorers it can be time consuming, in telephone calls, visiting the premise in business hours and sourcing parts. Many classic car owner’s have their own successful business to manage, by managing your own car project can lead to either misunderstand between you and the restorer or timescales to complete are not met.

Some times when you have made friends with the restorer it is harder to set down the service level you require.

Q: How can I make sure the right parts are at the restorers on time?

Pride and Joy are leaders in the field of parts sourcing either stock items at competitive prices or obsolete parts. We always keep a close watch on quality.
We will ensure that the part is delivered on time ready for the work to continue without delay.

Q: What will be the difference in Pride & Joy carrying out this work for me?

At Pride & Joy we will either source a specialist for the particular work or manage
your project as your favourite restorer.

Having liaised with both the customer and the restorer we will agree in writing a contract using the expertise of our legal department.

Q: Is this like a concierge service for classic car owners?

To enjoy your collection to the full, if you have three cars or thirty three having them all start on the button and be ready to go in a clean well maintained fashion not only maintains their value but adds enjoyment. Q: I would love to go on an overseas tour but where do I start re shipping my car and how will I get time to go to the container depot?

Pride and Joy will source the right vehicle to transport your car to any destination Worldwide. Using our legal department ensures that the correct administration is completed within the local governing laws.

At Pride & Joy we will even meet the car at the destination port and ensure that it is cleaned and prepared ready for you to enjoy tour with confidence.

After you have enjoyed your tour we can ensure your Pride & joy is returned safely and recomissioned ready to be back in use in the shortest possible time frame.
