Jaguar are widely recognised as superb and timeless car manufacturers, producing perhaps the most recognisable classic car of all time – the E-Type, which was featured in James Bond classics Thunderball and Casino Royale.
Today, classic Jaguar’s are among the most sought after vehicles in the world, boasting the superb design and racing pedigree matched by very few other brands.
We have been fortunate enough to restore a large number of classic Jaguars, taking them from needing serious attention through to a fully restored vehicle. We provide Jaguar servicing, engine rebuilds or oil change, chroming, paintwork and interior trimming.
Our restoration work covers both original models in the early post-war Jaguar models through to the XJS series.
Jaguar was founded as the Swallow Sidecar Company in 1922, originally making motorcycle sidecars before developing bodies for passenger cars. The company’s name was changed from S. S. Cars to Jaguar Cars in 1945. A merger with the British Motor Corporation followed in 1966, the resulting enlarged company now being renamed as British Motor Holdings (BMH), which in 1968 merged with Leyland Motor Corporation and became British Leyland, itself to be nationalised in 1975.
The Jaguar brand was then spun off from British Leyland and was acquired by Ford in 1990 until 2008 when it sold both to Tata Motors. In 2013 Jaguar Cars was merged with Land Rover to form Jaguar Land Rover Ltd.

Contact us now“I purchased my 1954 R Type Bentey thinking it was a good one but I was wrong. Without you and your capable staff the car would not now be such an enjoyable car to drive and own. The engine rebuild is making the car perform and sound as it did when new and the power steering was a great addition for driving such a large car (at my age). Many thanks for the work done by all at Pride & Joy.”
“Knowledgeable, professional and friendly service. Not the cheapest in town but they do the properly. I have owned my MGA for almost three years now and since pride and joy serviced it and set up the 123 electronic ignition (which nobody else seem to be able to do properly) it has run and started better than ever. They made every effort to get my old fuel gauge working properly and sorted out a tricky bad earth on an indicator lamp and even delivered the car back home to me.”
